An Evening of Christmas Music

for Jospice's 40th Anniversary Appeal

Sunday 22 December, 7.30pm
The Concert Room,
St. George's Hall

Since the inception in 1997, an annual Christmas Concert has been presented by the choir at their Parish church in Waterloo. For the first time, St. Edmund's performed their Christmas Concert at St. George's Hall's famous Concert Room in aid of Jospice's 40th Anniversary Appeal following the recent success of the Songs from the Silver Screen concert at Waterloo's Plaza Cinema.

St. Edmund's Choir were under the baton of Martin O'Boyle and were joined by guest artists Danielle Thomas and Anna Corcoran, as well as accompaniment from Ann Dickinson MBE, Stephen Mannings and Formby Band. The concert featured some traditional favourites such as 'O Holy Night' and 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing', plus some pieces by Benjamin Britten and John Rutter.
